Our mission at Muhib Foundation of Muslim Funeral Services is to ease the burden of a grieving family in financial distress.

What is MFMFS?
The Muhib Foundation of Muslim Funeral Services is a non-profit organization created to assist the financially challenged after their death. According to Islamic tradition, this foundation is dedicated to helping marginalized Muslims by helping to pay the expenses of the funeral and burial. As a pilot program, we provide assistance and financial support to eligible deceased in the North Carolina area, eventually spreading nationwide In Sha Allah.
We take care of all the costs associated with picking up and transporting deceased less fortunate Muslims for the Islamic Ghusl and Muslim funeral, file the necessary permits for burial, and to the final journey to a titled Muslim grave, in a Muslim Cemetery or
cemetery with designated Muslim burial sections.
In the unfortunate event of the death of a family member or friend, Funeral Services provides financial assistance with the costs associated with Islamic funeral arrangements, including:
- Transportation from home/hospice/hospital to funeral home
- Arrangements for storing a body
- Ghusl (washing the deceased according to the sunnah), filing the
necessary documents for burial, and transporting the decedent to an
Islamic cemetery or with Islamic burial sections. - Acquiring a burial plot at several cemeteries
- Transportation from the funeral home to the mosque and the cemetery
- Janazah (funeral) prayer at a congregation
- Obtaining the death certificate.
